If you saw my XSRE haul, you know that I recently purchased the e.l.f. Plumping Lip Glaze in “Ruby Kiss”. I snagged this great glaze for only $1 at XSRE, but if the store isn’t located near you, no worries – you can get it from drugstore.com or the e.l.f. website for the same price. I wasn’t sure what to expect from this affordable lip glaze, but I love it. The dual sided stick featured a clear, super plumping glaze and a beautiful ruby red tinted glaze that offered a more subtle plump. I was surprised by how well the plumper worked and how vibrant the color was. I actually just dabbed the color on and blended it to get a paler pink shade for everyday wear, the bold ruby red is more suited for an evening makeup look. Both the clear and tinted glazes added a great sparkle and shine and they can easily be worn separately or paired together for a perfectly plump pout. I’m looking forward to buying this affordable product in other shades. There are eleven colors available, ranging from a pearlescent pink to a fierce fuchsia. The only downside of this product for me was that it isn’t long lasting. It doesn’t wear off quickly, but it might not survive dinner or drinks. For only a dollar though, I don’t feel too bad about needing to reapply.
