Clean & Clear Deep Action Cream Cleanser

Clean & Clear Deep Action Cream Cleanser is an oil-free facial cleanser which claims to get deep down into the pores for truly clean skin.  It also is advertised as leaving a cool, refreshing tingle. The tingle actually has nothing to do with how clean your skin is, it’s just because of the added menthol, but it still does feel as refreshing as it claims. Be aware though that this light tingle may irritate those with sensitive skin and a milder version is available. The cleanser worked well for me. It didn’t feel that residue was left behind and it did not dry out my skin. It even helped reduce the appearance of blackheads, so I would recommend this product for those with minor blackhead issues. The product smelled nice – a light fragrance that was clean with a hint of mint. A 6.5 ounce tube retails for around $5 to $6 at stores like CVS, Harmon/Face Values and Target.  To maximize the benefits of this face wash I used a wash cloth for a light exfoliation and used warm water to open my pores and let the product better penetrate the dirt. After rinsing off the cleanser, I put cool water on my face to close my pores and then applied an oil free moisturizer.
