Lady Gaga has a unique fashion sense that one might describe as as adventurous, playful, bold, edgy and even extreme. You never know what to expect and Lady and her designer friends are always pushing boundaries and coming up with something new. Though her fabulous, fantastical style may work well on her, it isn’t exactly practical for the average fashionista. After a fairly long but very fun web search, I’ve found some affordable pieces that channel mother monster herself. Some are more wild, others more wearable, but none will break the bank.
One of Lady Gaga's Latex Looks
Lady Gaga loves her latex, and she looks great in it! Latex can get pretty pricey though (and I’m guessing a little uncomfortable) but you can still get the latex look at bargain prices with ‘liquid’ or ‘wet look’ leggings. You can snag glossy black liquid leggings at Charlotte Russe for just $14.99 or pick up a crocodile print pair for the same price.
Lady Gaga's Faux Hair Bows
One of Lady Gaga’s favorite accessories is a hair bow, quite literally. She rocks faux hair bows like nobody’s business and while I wouldn’t recommend this for an everyday look, it’s the perfect addition to any Lady Gaga costume. You can snag the same brand she buys (CottonCandySugarRush) for under $30! Bows are available in every shade from pink to platinum blonde.
Lady Gaga's Lace Dress
Lady goes Gaga for lots of lace – she’s often seen sporting lace dresses, tops and even veils. Lace is romantic and racy, a sexy wardrobe staple. To avoid overexposure, try a lace dress like this cool collared one from Tobi.
Lady Gaga in a Spiked Bra
Lady Gaga occasionally sports the biker chic look with black leather and some serious studs. Check out the spikes on her bra! Just as dangerous but much more affordably priced, I love this bra top from Go Jane.
Lady Gaga's Heel-Less Heels
Lady Gaga has a penchant for towering high heels…without heels! I’m not quite sure how she walks in them, but I do know where you can snag a cute pair for cheap. Check out Make Me Chic for several affordable heel-less styles.
